Talking Trees and Salmon

On Saturday April 27, you are invited to join Talaysay Tours and the David Suzuki Foundation for a fascinating 90-minute walking tour of Áx̱achu7 (Beaver Lake in Stanley Park). Talking Trees and Salmon will explore how Indigenous people utilize the land for food, medicine and technology and discuss the significance of salmon in the Northwest Coast ecosystem and in Indigenous society and culture.

Talaysay Tours founder, Candace Campo, and David Suzuki Foundation salmon biologist, Jeffery Young, will lead the 90-minutes cultural and ecological exploration of the relationship between salmon, forests and people through the lenses of science and Indigenous knowledge.

Book your spot today with the code SUZUKI and join the tour for just a $10 registration fee (this is usually $75 per person) This event will sell out very quickly, so we recommend booking today!

It could be your first step on an adventure that will leave you with a deeper understanding of your local environment and the role you can take to protect it.

All ages welcome.
