Tour Title: Talking Trees Tour – Indigenous Interpretive Forest Walk – Smugglers Cove
Tour Description: Every tree and plant has its own unique story to tell. The northwest coast forest has effectively sustained our indigenous peoples for countless generations. We invite you and your group to join us on a Smuggler’s Cove walk in the Provincial Marine Park to experience an indigenous interpretive tour and walk in one of the Sunshine Coasts most unique and enriched natural environments. Along the way, your guide will point out local plants that Indigenous people have harvested for food, medicine and technology.
This tour includes a beach visit and is paced at 3 hours with several breaks. The tour starts at Brooks Road, where the Provincial Park entrance starts. Smuggler’s Cove is a Provincial Marine Park and staying on the trails and bridges is important to protect plant life.
