Type of Program:  Indigenous Walking Tour (K-12 ONLY)

Program Description:  Porpoise Bay Provincial Park is an ancient village of the Shishalh peoples who have comprised of 4 main clans and hundreds of village sites.  It is also a significant forest and sea garden utilized by our peoples’ for generations in the last several thousand years. 

We invite you to join us as we share the rich history, indigenous stewardship practices and

specifics on how our people utilized the forest and inlet for food, medicine, technology and travel.

Includes:  1 guide-ambassador per 20 students

Cancellation Policies:  Group tours require 10 days notice for cancellation to receive

reimbursement minus 20% admin.  All tours start on time.  If guests are late and miss

the tour there are no reimbursements.  Cancellations with less than the required notice

are 100% non-refundable.

Cancellation Due to Weather:  The company reserves the right to cancel for

safety reasons.  We operate when it is raining but if there are gale winds we

will postpone and reschedule you on another day.  This is rare but can happen. 

Some of the risks are falling tree branches. If you are from out of town, a rescheduled

program in Vancouver can be arranged.  If there is any additional requirements

you feel you may need for you and your group please do not hesitate to contact

us directly.
