Meeting Location

We meet you at the Public Boat Launch on the west side of the Hollyburn Boat Club (West of 1326 Argyle Ave, West Vancouver, BC V7T 1C1) and or the East side of the Ferry Boat Art Gallery. If traveling by transit, the 250 Horseshoe Bay Bus will drop you off on Marine drive between 14th and 15th and it is a short walk to the beach.

Tour Title:                         Talaysay’s Stand-up Paddle Board  (SUP) Board Tour                                                                   

Tour Description:              This tour is a  tour designed for a small gorup of two or four ppl).  It includes basic instruction, tea and a snack.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) is the new kayaking.  Join us on the northshore and explore via SUP (Stand Up Paddle Boarding) the Salish Sea.  Your guide will share the local history and rich diverse marine ecology of the many birds, fish, and sea mammals that travel these waters.  

The Talaysay SUP Tour is scheduled to enjoy the sunrise and or sunset that can only be seen for all of its glory from the Northshore. No experience is required.  We will provide the basic instruction in paddle technique and safety

  • Certified Stand up Paddle Board Guide
  • Paddleboard (paddle Canada), paddle, pfd, safety equipment, first aid kit
  • Indigenous Tea and a snack.
  • Safety orientation, basic SUP tips; including a demonstration on self and assisted rescue before we go on the water
  • We provide and ensure your safety through the pod paddle method. We are a paddle team that paddles in close proximity to each other and the shoreline.We support each other on the water by staying together. 

What to bring:

  • Water bottle.
  • Bring a towel.An extra change of clothes for later.
  • Dress for outdoor success and dress for evening weather.
  • Water shoes, sandals, crocks or old running shoes are recommended.

Talaysay Customer Service and policies:

We paddle on light rainy days and encourage visitors to love our rain coast as the locals do. 

If weather is extreme with respect to rain or wind, we will contact you to re-schedule or cancel without cancellation penalty.  All participants are required to sign a waiver form.

Client Cancellations: 48 hours or less we will reimburse less 20% admin fee.  If you would like to reschedule for another day, our company will schedule you in.
