Talaysay’s Talking Trees Tour – Stanley Park
Tour Description: Each plant, each tree has its own special story. Explore Vancouver’s iconic Stanley Park with a local Indigenoous guide and cultural ambassador. Along the way, your guide will point out local plants that were harvested by First Nations people for food, technology and medicine. Options for all fitness levels.
What to wear/bring: good walking shoes, and wear layers with the changing seasons
Who we are: Talaysay Tours, owned by Candace and Larry Campo, Shíshálh (Sechelt) and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) First Nation, offer you an enriched cultural outdoor experience. Our First Nation guides will share with you our ancient and contemporary stories, legends and Aboriginal ways of living. Talking Trees Walk, Stanley Park
Tour A start time: 10 am Tour A end time: 11:30 am Duration: 1.5 hrs
Tour B start time: 12:00 noon Tour B end time: 1:30 pm Duration: 1.5 hrs
Tour C start time: 2:00 pm Tour C end time: 3:30 pm Duration: 1.5 hrs
Daily Schedule: 10 am 12:00 noon, 2:00 pm (Three tours a day)
Meeting location: Meet in front of Bus Loop 2, Stanley Park (At the Interpretive Sign) Map
Max/Min number of participants: 20/ Min: 2 Season(s): January 1st to December 31st.
We are closed in the month of November.
Rate: $35 pp $28 per child rate plus gst.
Note: You and your party have an option to also book the Vancouver Aquarium in addition to our Talking Trees Tour if you wish to expand your day at Stanley Park. Additional costs apply. Ask about our custom groups and times. When booked in advance we will do all we can to accommodate your group and interests.
