Join Candace Campo, owner/operator of Talaysay Tours , anthropologist & educator for an evening at the @moa_ubc for an enriched North West Coast Indigenous art tour and a delicious Indigenous inspired meal at @salmonnbannockbistro Women we invite you for an evening out with good food, great company, amazing art and quality time shared with other women.
This tour includes a three course meal at Salmon & Bannock, and finishes with a guided tour of the Museum of Anthropology at UBC. To ensure your participation, we strongly recommend booked in advance with our limited spaces of 16 guests.

Who we are: Talaysay Tours, owned by Candace and Larry Campo, Shíshálh (Sechelt) and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) First Nation, offer you an enriched cultural outdoor experience. Talaysay Tours is an Indigenous owned award winning tour company for Outstanding Customer Service and has been selected by Trip Advisor in 2018 and 2019 for Certificate of Excellence.
What to expect on your Tour:
5:30 pm - Meet at the Salmon and Bannock
7:00 pm ish - car commute and car pool to Museum of Anthropology (MOA)
7:30 pm ish - Enjoy a guided tour with Candace at MOA
9:00 pm - farewells shared. Our evening event is completed.
This event begins with dinner at Salmon & Bannock Bistro on 1128 W Broadway #7, Vancouver BC, v6h 105. We understand you are in commute in Vancouver traffic and likely coming from work. We invite you to order your meal in advance so that we can complete our meal by 7 pm (we will provide you the menu options). After a delicious dinner, guides and guests will car commute to the Museum of Anthropology 6393 NW Marine Drive, Vancouver, BC V6T 1Z2 and arrive by 7:30 pm ish to enjoy a guided tour with Candace and view the exhibit. Candace will formally welcome you to MOA the home and land of xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) people. *If you do not drive, our Talaysay team will have room and you can car pool with us. At the museum, Candace will guide for 1 hr, provide you at 15 minute break to enjoy the museum at your own pace and complete the last 15 minutes of the tour with the group. The museum guided tour is 1 hr and 30 minutes. Parking fees are $6.00 for two hours and $5.00 for 1 hr and a half.
We respect the schedules of all of our guests attending our cultural experiences and tours. All of our tours begin promptly. We ask that you reviewing the meeting location well in advance is recommended.
When you book, you will receive a confirmation email and a receipt of payment from our office manager Nicki with the itinerary details for your tour.
When you arrive your Talaysay guides and staff will be waiting for you at the resteraunt Salmon & Bannock Bistro. We ask for the names of all attendees. Your guide is trained within our tribal cultural protocols to be your host and deliver and share an indigenous cultural experience. All questions are welcome. This special event is for women only.
