Type of Program: Indigenous Kayak Tour - Private
Tour Description: Join us to paddle the Salish Sea. Your Talaysay Tours guides will provide you instruction on basic paddle strokes, techniques and safety. We invite you to paddle with us as we share the stories and history of the Salish Sea and how it has provided for our peoples since time immemorial. Taking in the scenery, including the seabirds, mammals and vista views of the mountains. We will stop at a local beach to enjoy a drink of Indigenous and a tasty snack. (Please remember to bring your own drinking cup.)

Includes: All kayak equipment, pfd, bileage pump, paddle, spare paddle, paddle float. traditional indigenous tea.
We ask all participants in advance your general kayak experiences, your height so that we can select the best kayak for your enjoyment.
What to bring: A water bottle, water shoes and or old runners. Please do not bring flip flops. Dress for the weather. A Hat and Sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended.
Safety Practices: We invite all guests to wear a mask. Your guides will be wearing masks and using hand sanitizer before and after all tours. For your safety and the safety of our guides, we do not shake hands but will share our Salish greeting and farewell with you. If you have any symptoms, cold or flu, contact us and we will reschedule with you on another day.

We ask our guests to provide yourself enough time to park and locate your guide. We recommend arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour as all of our scheduled tours start promptly.
Talaysay Policies: All tours start on time. If guests are late and miss the tour there are no reimbursement. Based on availability, we will work to schedule you on another date and time.
