Talaysay’s Indigenous Art Crawl in Vancouver
Tour Description: The iconography found in traditional Coast Salish art is symbolic of the sacred teachings, traditions, and protocols that have been passed down the generational line for millennia. They represent our distinct worldview, our spiritual belief systems, and the history of our people. On Talaysay’s Indigenous Art Crawl in Vancouver, you will get to experience the breathtaking and magnificent beauty of traditional and contemporary Northwest Coast Indigenous art through a curated itinerary crafted by an Indigenous Guide. On this Cultural exploration, you will get to observe the Totem Poles in Stanley Park, experience contemporary Indigenous art in Granville Island, and marvel at the work of our Ancestors in UBC’s Museum of Anthropology. By covering the variety of Totem Poles found on the Pacific Northwest Coast, sharing how contemporary motifs are being used to breathe new life into our art art, and connecting you with the work of our Ancestors, Talaysay’s Private Indigenous Art Crawl in Vancouver will provide you with a complete and robust adventure into our world through our art.
